Teaching

My teaching portfolio includes leading smaller, advanced classes as well as managing large introductory courses with over 150 students, where I served as head TA. As an instructor of record, I have taught courses such as Gender and Politics in Eurasia, Introduction to Comparative Politics, and Global Leadership. I also served as head TA for large introductory classes like Politics Around the World, as well as for smaller, advanced classes like Politics in Multi-Cultural Societies and Research Methods.

My teaching has been recognized with the Political Science Department Teaching Assistant Award (UW–Madison) and a nomination for a campus-wide TA award (Innovation in Teaching). I am committed to continually enhancing my pedagogical skills and have participated in trainings such as the Discussion Project at UW–Madison. Additionally, I was selected to join the Teaching Mentors Program at the College of Letters & Science at UW–Madison.

My teaching style is grounded in the principles of “student-centered learning,” with a focus on creating an inclusive classroom environment that addresses the diverse and unequal experiences of students.
